POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Loan Servicing Associate – Insurance Escrow is responsible for managing all aspects of homeowner and flood insurance tracking for the loan portfolio, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely updates. This role serves as the primary contact for the insurance tracking vendor, oversees force-placed insurance, and supports related servicing activities including collateral release, payment processing, and vendor management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate closely with insurance vendors to track insurance and flood policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of force-placed insurance including flood, detailed record-keeping and documentation for regulatory purposes.
- Act as a key liaison between loan officers and insurance vendors, facilitating seamless communication and effective policy tracking. Provide regular updates to loan officers on policy status and any relevant changes.
- Review and reconcile insurance reports to ensure all required updates are completed in a timely manner.
- Process paid consumer loans, including preparing and releasing collateral and mailing documents to borrowers.
- Handle return mail related to loan servicing and notify loan officers as needed.
- Perform rate reviews in the system to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
- Responsible for any credit reference that may come in on any consumer loans.
- Responsible for reviewing any consumer exceptions (short payoffs, loans with zero principal balance, etc.) sending letters if needed.
- Manager the relationship with MPX, the loan statement printing vendor ensuring statement counts are accurate and backups are maintained.
- Provide backup support for other servicing functions as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and vendor service standards.
- Stay abreast of flood insurance regulations to ensure compliance.
- Work and resolves Synapsis events timely.
- Interacts courteously and professionally with all staff.
- Performing other duties within the same physical and mental scope as needed in order to assist the department of the Bank.
- Successfully pass technical and regulatory examinations required by the Company.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong understanding of homeowner and flood insurance requirements, including force-placement processes.
- Working knowledge of escrow analysis, tax tracking, and collateral management.
- Familiarity with Jack Henry SilverLake, Synergy, or similar core banking systems preferred.
- Ability to analyze and reconcile detailed reports from vendors and internal systems.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors, loan officers, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfort working with large data files.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- 5 years of banking experience preferred

- Consistently operates a computer and other office machinery such as calculator, copy machine and printers.
- Climate controlled general office setting with moderate noise level.
