The mechanics of Snow Rider are surprisingly smooth. The Snow Rider 3D sled moves naturally, speeding up on slopes and slowing down a little on jumps, which makes the user feel like they are really moving. The game is soothing but nonetheless interesting because of the quiet, lively background music and the wonderful sound effects of snow crunching.
